How to delete your account
- Sign in at app.tealfeed.ai, or open the Tealfeed app.
- Go to Settings, then Personal, then Deactivate or delete, and choose Delete my account.
- Review what will be deleted, then confirm with the code we email you.
If you own a team workspace that has other members, transfer its ownership first (Settings, Members). Can't sign in? Email contact@tealfeed.com from the address on your account and we will verify it is you and delete it for you.
You have 30 days to change your mind
Your account is deleted 30 days after you confirm. Until then you are signed out everywhere and your booking page is offline. Sign in during those 30 days and you can restore everything as it was.
Just need a break? Deactivate instead
Deactivating switches your account off without deleting anything. Your booking page goes offline, you are signed out everywhere, and a paid plan is paused so you are not charged. Sign in any time and choose Reactivate to get everything back as it was. When you deactivate, you choose what happens if you do not come back: your account is deleted after 1, 3 or 6 months, and we email you before it is.
What is deleted
- Your account, profile, and sign-in details.
- Your workspace: contacts, services, calendar, availability, files, messages, forms, workflows and your booking page, and any team workspace where you are the only member.
- Upcoming bookings you host are cancelled and refunded in full, and each client is emailed.
- Connections to Google Calendar and payment providers are revoked.
- Notification registrations on your phones.
What is kept, and why
- Invoices and payment records are kept for 8 years, because tax law requires it, and then deleted automatically.
- Records other businesses on Tealfeed hold about you, such as a booking you made with them, stay with them. Your name on those records is replaced and they no longer link to an account.
- Security and audit logs, kept to protect the platform and its users.
